We have previously bought wood pigeon breasts from the same man (they were delicious) so we immediately decided to try something else:
Pie is predominately on my mind for using the game meat, however tandoori rabbit or a warming cacciatore or chasseur (Italian or French style stew respectively) also tempt me with their autumn-wintery heartiness!
We’ve decided to play with these ingredients for a late Sunday lunch tomorrow. If whichever dish we decide upon works I will of course post pics/links to the recipe!
